One of the main determinants of successful therapy is a positive relationship between the therapist and client. It's important for the client to feel heard, understood, and cared for by their therapist. We base our practice off of creating a positive experience for my clients by providing a warm, supportive, and empathic environment for the client to grow as the individual they strive to be.
In addition to having a warm and inviting relationship, the therapist must also be able to help their clients by using a model of psychological theories to practice from. Our practice includes skilled clinicians whom are versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Sand Tray, Play Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Gestalt, and Client-Centered therapies. Most importantly, we follow the client's lead to see what approach would work best for them as they mold to increase self-awareness, develop coping skills, foster self-compassion, and break out of self-damaging cycles and routines that keep them feeling stuck.
We see children (ages 6-12), adolescents (ages 12-20), young adults (ages 20-35), and adults (35+).
We specialize in adolescent psychotherapy, family-based systems, depression disorders, anxiety disorders, life adjustments, relationship and communication issues, sexual and gender identity issues, and trauma-related disorders.
We are in network with Aetna, Oxford, United Health Care, Horizon BlueCross BlueShield, and Cigna plans.
If we do not accept your health insurance plan, please inquire about our session rates.
We believe that therapy should be affordable to everyone whom needs it so we offer a sliding scale to suit your financial needs.
If your insurance plan has out of network benefits, any payments made out of pocket can be reimbursed back to you. You can inquire about this method with your insurance provider.
